Chuck grew up in Iowa, across the street from a trap shooting range run by his parents. While shotgunning was his family's primary focus, he picked up pistol shooting after breaking his collarbone one winter. Since that time, Chuck has enjoyed competitive pistol shooting and was one of the 4 original members to start the Friday Night Steel program at MCF&G. When not volunteering as President, Chuck is an industrial water chemist. He helps industrial customers use water more efficiently in their cooling towers and boilers through the use of chemicals and equipment.
"As President of Marion County Fish and Game, it is my goal to grow membership and improve our facility. Over just the past few years, we have paid off our debt, installed a new automated gate to improve handicap accessibility, remodelled a bathroom to be accessible by our general membership, and installed 2 new shooting bays. We work hard to promote shooting sports in Indiana, and we plan to leave the range better than we found it, both physically and financially. We can do this by promoting profitable programs at the range and investing the money wisely."
